We are 2 sisters that own the property. Our family has owned 119 Dale Avenue for over 50 years. Our parents bought the property in December 1968. They lived in the building next door from about 1964 until they purchased this property.
Our parents were married in Sassinoro, Italy on rainy day in January 1960.
My father came to America with a Visa as a Sculptor. He was really a stone mason, but there were too many here at the time. He was also artistic in his stone work, so Sculptor was not out of his area of expertise. As a matter of fact, he sculpted the rosette window, with another master mason of their church in Italy.
